Terms of Service

Effective Date: March 15, 2026

Article 1 (Purpose)

These terms define the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between PeachMarket (the "Company") and users regarding the use of the second-hand trading platform service (the "Service").

Article 2 (Definitions)

  1. "Service" refers to the second-hand goods trading platform provided by the Company.
  2. "User" refers to a member who uses the Service in accordance with these terms.
  3. "Member" refers to a person who has registered for the Service and received a user account.
  4. "Content" refers to sale posts, images, chat messages, etc. registered by members on the Service.

Article 3 (Effectiveness and Changes)

  1. These terms take effect when posted on the Service screen or otherwise notified to users.
  2. The Company may change these terms within the scope of applicable laws, with at least 7 days' advance notice.

Article 4 (Registration and Accounts)

  1. Registration is completed when the user agrees to the terms, fills in member information, and the Company approves it.
  2. Members can register via email or Google account.
  3. Members must provide accurate information; providing false information may result in restricted service use.
  4. Members are responsible for safely managing their account information.

Article 5 (Service Provision)

The Company provides the following services:

  1. Registration and search of second-hand item sale posts
  2. 1:1 chat between users
  3. Favorite items bookmarking
  4. Transaction status management (For Sale, Reserved, Sold)
  5. Report and block features

Article 6 (User Obligations)

Users must not engage in the following:

  1. Registering false information or using others' information
  2. Trading illegal items through the Service
  3. Causing discomfort or threatening other users
  4. Interfering with normal Service operations
  5. Using the Service for commercial purposes without prior Company consent

Article 7 (Content Management)

  1. Copyright of content belongs to the member who created it.
  2. The Company may delete or hide content in cases of legal violations, terms violations, or user reports.

Article 8 (Transaction Disclaimer)

  1. The Company only provides a trading platform; it is not a party to transactions.
  2. The Company is not responsible for disputes arising from transactions; users must resolve them directly.
  3. The Company provides safe trading guides and report features but does not guarantee transaction safety.

Article 9 (Service Interruption)

The Company may temporarily suspend Service provision due to unavoidable circumstances such as system maintenance, equipment failure, or natural disasters, with advance notice.

Article 10 (Withdrawal and Restrictions)

  1. Members may request withdrawal at any time within the Service.
  2. The Company may restrict service use or suspend accounts for members who violate terms or interfere with Service operations.

Article 11 (Governing Law)

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, USA, and disputes related to Service use shall be resolved in Georgia state courts.
